TUNING
Regular tuning and maintenance will keep the piano in shape and continued enjoyment of the instrument. As temperature and humidity change, the wood and parts of the piano will expand and contract change the string pressure, causing the piano to go out of tune.
REGULATION
Regulation is the adjustment of various parts of the piano due to the wear of various materials such ast cloth and felt. A well-regulated piano will keep the instrument feeling and sounding its best.

Rebuilding
Rebuilding a piano replaces old, worn parts with new parts to make the piano like new. Rebuilding requires disassembly of the piano, repairing or replacing the the soundboard, bridges, and pinblock. If necessary, action parts are also replaced.
